We are a family owned business located in Adelaide, South Australia. The idea behind APJ Products automotive tray designs dates back over 15 years ago, when Andrew Jackson designed his original automotive tray mold.

Andrew Jackson, joint owner and creator of APJ Products, has been in the plastics industry for 40+ years. During this time, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in plastics processes and products. His qualification (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering) allowed him to continue into tooling design, tool trialing, PPAP and final product release for companies such as GMHAL, MMAL, Ford, Toyota, Simpson, Clipsal among many others. The experience also opened him up to other processes such as robotics and consequently the head of robot control and product flow path efficiency. His last 7 years spent directly in the industry were at Exacto Plastics located in Adelaide. The position saw Andrew working independently within the company performing all robotic programming, tool trialing and final product delivery.

Andrew, like many of us, is also a car and motorcycle enthusiast. His fascination with cars began at a very young age and by the time he was able to obtain his license, he had already bought and fixed up a Holden EH wagon. Since then he has owned an array of vehicles, ranging from the Holden Monaro all the way the Rambler Classic and Ambassador.

These two passions eventually collided, and this is where the idea for APJ Products was born. The main idea behind our products is to make jobs ranging from small engine services all the way to full engine rebuilds a simpler process for both the home and qualified mechanic. No more lost nuts and bolts, no more confusion about where components came from and the order they need to be reinstalled in.
